About the project
'Sahel, defeating hunger' is a transmedia project of RTVE.es to raise public awareness about the current state of Sahel, an area of ongoing food crisis because of climatological reasons.
In www.rtve.es/sahel, special correspondents along with the TVE correspondents describe the situation from the affected areas, in a series of interactive articles that promote charity projects of the different NGOs in the area.
This project was also broadcasted on our TV and radio news programs, in an integral campaign that began on our site, and took over the entire Spanish public radio and TV broadcasting.
Sobre el proyecto
'Sahel, vencer el hambre' es un proyecto transmedia de RTVE.es para concienciar a los usuarios de la situación actual del Sahel, una zona azotada por continuas crisis alimentarias a causa de la sequía.
En www.rtve.es/sahel, corresponsales de TVE relataron sobre el terreno la delicada situación que se vive en este desierto, en una serie de artículos multimedia que apoyan iniciativas solidarios de distintas ONG.
Este proyecto tuvo cobertura tanto en tele como en radio, siendo una campaña integral que se gestó en RTVE.es y que impregnó toda las emisiones de radio y tele de RTVE.
